Ashwatthaman Cursed:

After the night attack where the Pandavas die, Yudhishthira is worried that Draupadi is going to drown in grief from the loss of her brother and five sons.
Draupadi confronts her husbands and (while crying) says that for thirteen years they have all endured shame and exile so that their children may prosper. But now they are all dead, so how can they still want to have power and kingdom.
Krishna makes her feels better, but she turned to Bhima and told him that if he didn't kill Ashwatthaman and bring her his head, she would never look at him again.
Yudhishthira told her that Ashwatthaman is a brahmin and Vishnu would punish him if he had done anything wrong, so if they were to kill him, the Pandavas would not be restored to her.
Draupadi agreed but requested that Ashwatthaman's jewel in his forehead (that protects him from hunger, thirst, poison the attack of wild animals, and more) be taken from him.
Arjuna went and got the jewel and brought it back.
